Writing for Comics

When I first started with Scattered Comics, I had no idea how to actually write for comics. My first attempt for Blank was really just a stripped down version of a short story narrative format. Eek! Through research, practice, and some handy software, I was able to produce (what I consider) very good scripts in a format that won’t have your artists pulling their hair out wondering what you want them to draw! The following are links to the entire video series where we begin with creating a plot, to developing characters, all the way though to finalizing the script—all of which will hopefully help you in writing that comic script—from concept to finished comic!
